{"id":1490,"date":"2016-04-26T10:24:45","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T10:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lfgdating.com\/gamer-dating-blog\/?p=1490"},"modified":"2016-04-26T10:28:26","modified_gmt":"2016-04-26T10:28:26","slug":"lfg-web-dev-update-past-current-and-ze-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lfgdating.com\/gamer-dating-blog\/lfg-web-dev-update-past-current-and-ze-future","title":{"rendered":"LFG Web Dev Update: Past, Current, and ze Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holy smokes &#8211; the first four months of 2016 have been insane on the LFG web development front, but it&#8217;s been completely exciting to see all that we&#8217;ve accomplished, and even more exciting when we look at the projects that are coming down the pipe. \u00a0As always our new features, tools, filters, and UX enhancements are largely driven by <em>you<\/em> the user &#8211; our amazing community continuously amazes me at giving us stellar feedback, and we sincerely appreciate it! \u00a0So without further adieu, let&#8217;s take a gander at our past, current, and future coding projects here at LFGdating!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Completed Projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stealth mode<\/li>\n<li>User photo system overhaul (jQuery FTW)<\/li>\n<li>User favorites system (to include seeing who favorited YOU)<\/li>\n<li>Add emojis to our messaging system<\/li>\n<li>Update user profile settings<\/li>\n<li>Filter matches by preferred gaming console(s)<\/li>\n<li>Filter matches by age range<\/li>\n<li>Filter matches by users with photos<\/li>\n<li>Profile cover photos<\/li>\n<li>Literally countless behind-the-scenes projects that help us keep the LFG ship sailin&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Current Projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instagram API integration:\n<ul>\n<li>Soon you&#8217;ll be able to import your Instagram photos directly and easily via our Instagram API app; dev is currently in the final phase, and then it will undergo final testing before launch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Another classified web dev project built exclusively for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lfgdating.com\/gamer-dating-blog\/florida-supercon-here-we-come\">our upcoming booth at #Supercon2016<\/a> in Miami this 4th of July weekend!<\/li>\n<li>Search by username: forget to add that special someone to your favorites list? \u00a0No worries &#8211; just fire in their username and you&#8217;ll land in the right spot.<\/li>\n<li>Tons of UX\/UI enhancements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ze Future Projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A few new exciting search filters! \/topsecret<\/li>\n<li>A few SUPER exciting API integrations, and that&#8217;s as much as I&#8217;m allowed to say \/ubertopsecret<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I actually have one more project that should go in the Current\/ze Future list, but it&#8217;s so top secret + I don&#8217;t know how to even joke about it without giving it away + you&#8217;ll just have to wait + I think you&#8217;ll be pleasantly surprised when we hit launch! \u00a0Of course, if you&#8217;re in Miami this 4th of July weekend BE SURE to swing over to the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lfgdating.com\/gamer-dating-blog\/florida-supercon-here-we-come\">LFGdating booth at Supercon16<\/a> &#8211; both Casey and I will be there all four days, and we can&#8217;t wait to meet more of our members!<\/p>\n<p>Alright, Sublime Text 2 and PHP are calling my name, but more web dev news to follow soon!
