Because I&#8217;m not seeing it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stranger Things 2<\/em> is set to release Halloween 2017. What better way to celebrate all things scary and freaky than to release what I am hoping will be the most impactful Netflix season premiere of all time?<\/p>\n<p>Let me describe my bias:\u00a0<em>Stranger Things<\/em> is my favorite series of all time. It even helped spawn my favorite mash-up this past year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fve-video-wrapper fve-image-embed fve-thumbnail-image youtube\" style=\"padding-bottom:75%;\">\n    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zD0M7rVDG6g?wmode=transparent&#038;modestbranding=1&#038;autohide=1&#038;showinfo=0&#038;rel=0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen><\/iframe>    <\/div>\n<p><em>Stranger Things<\/em> had some of the best descriptions in recent memory as well. One Redditor (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/StrangerThings\/comments\/4tzvao\/spoilers_potentially_how_do_you_describe_stranger\/?st=izhsz2j8&amp;sh=0c8c5e83\">Optimus_Prim3<\/a>) described it this way:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I always ask if they&#8217;ve watched Super 8. If they did, I ask if they liked the movie. If the answers yes then I say you got to see this show. If they say no ill tell them to still watch the show lol.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bill Simmons&#8217; venture, TheRinger.com, describes it in <a href=\"https:\/\/theringer.com\/stranger-things-netflix-80s-duffer-brothers-279deac579a9#.e0w9j4yox\">otherworldly terms<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"markup--em markup--p-em\">&#8220;Stranger Things<\/em> is like Epcot Center. It takes something people are interested in and creates a world for them to visit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>My description? It&#8217;s <em>X-files<\/em> with an ending; it&#8217;s a more visceral\u00a0<em>Goonies<\/em><em>.\u00a0<\/em>My college Modern British Literature teacher once told us in class, &#8220;You don&#8217;t beat Shakespeare on Shakespeare&#8217;s home court.&#8221; Well,\u00a0<em>Stranger Things<\/em> just ran him out the gym.<\/p>\n<p>What will I do until Halloween 2017?
