You see my hand in the air? Yes. I still play WoW. In fact, I’m going on eight years strong. Started out with Vanilla and here we are. Mere weeks away from the highly anticipated World of Warcraft expansion.
Plenty of discussion has already taken place (or is still taking place, I should say). Plenty of the new features and talents and abilities are waiting to be accessed, but maybe more importantly, Blizzard is using this expansion to fight declining numbers. Is WoW going away anytime soon? No. Not it’s not. But they’re not surpassing boy band concert numbers any more.
What are all the new features? Well, a recent Q&A helped us out considerably. What I’m looking forward to is the largest scale change to professions of any expansion. It would be fun if Blizzard ever installs a synergystic combination of professions, like the ability to create something more than a cloak for tailoring and an enchantment for it. I mean, how awesome would it be to something more than a cloak with an enchantment?
