According to the Pew Research Center, 30% of American adults have tried online dating.
That’s a pretty amazing number. To break this down, according to Emily A. Vogels, slightly more men than women have used an online dating service. About 50% of 18-29 year olds have tried online dating, and about 16% of people 50 and older have tried it. The range in between those declines with age as well.
What this means is that over the past 20 years, online dating has lost it’s stigma and gained major traction.
